Our homeowner had just moved into their new lake home when they saw our shades on a friend’s home, he told them, the only thing he wished he had done was add a fireplace to extend his use of the porch.

After contacting their builder, Yoder Construction of Hayward, Wisconsin, to see if he could add a screen porch, they contacted us.

When I stopped in, I found Mary sitting next to their new pellet stove reading. I asked if I could take a picture and told her “you could be our new poster child”. She laughed and said “Just let me put on lipstick”. Our homeowners have always been the reason for these shades.

I love good builders who understand and will work with us to assure the best installation. With the logs and strong wood framing, we knew a recessed mount would be best. They attached a wood header that looked perfect with the home so we could do a recessed mount.

The wood header gave us a flat area to trailer the lift cords into their screen porch. Working together with quality builders has constantly improved our exterior screen porch shades.
